About the Role
The Compensation & Benefits Specialist will focus on handling and enhancing the company’s compensation and benefits programs, ensuring they are competitive, compliant with relevant laws, and aligned with the business strategy.
The role will include overseeing payroll, salary benchmarking, reporting, and assisting the CPO with total rewards initiatives.
Key Responsibilities include:
1) Payroll Management
- Oversee the end-to-end payroll process, ensuring the timely and accurate processing of salaries and bonuses.
- Coordinate with external payroll providers and ensure all payroll data is accurately input and processed.
- Ensure compliance with Greek labor laws in payroll operations.
2) HR Analytics & Reporting
- Collect and analyse compensation and benefits data to ensure the company's offerings are competitive and aligned with industry standards.
- Prepare regular reports on compensation trends, payroll, and benefits administration for senior management.
- Track key HR metrics related to compensation, including cost and effectiveness.
3) Total Rewards
- Manage the compensation and benefits programs, including salary structures, bonuses and other incentives.
- Provide ongoing advice to leadership regarding compensation strategies to enhance employee motivation and retention.
- Research market trends and benchmark compensation packages to ensure the company remains competitive.
4) HR & Compliance
- Ensure all compensation and benefits practices are compliant with local, regional and international laws and regulations.
- Stay current on changes in employment laws and regulations that may affect compensation and benefits strategies.
- Maintain records and documentation for audits and compliance reviews.
5) Benefits Program Management
- Administer and communicate employee benefits programs (i.e., health, Ticket Restaurant, etc.).
- Provide ongoing support to employees on benefits-related queries.
- Assist with benefits program reviews and suggest improvements as needed.
6) Project Support
- Assist and collaborate with CPO on total rewards strategies and initiatives.
- Lead or support ad-hoc compensation and benefits projects such as salary reviews, new benefits offerings and compensation structure redesigns.
- Assist with the design, implementation, and review of compensation and benefits policies.
Requirements
The ideal candidate would possess:

- 4+ years of HR Operations experience with a focus on Total Rewards (Compensation & Benefits)
- Strong knowledge of Greek compensation laws and regulations
- Previous experience with payroll systems, including Ergani and outsourced payroll providers
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail in managing compensation data
- Ability to conduct market research and benchmark compensation and benefits packages
- Fluency in Greek and in English (both written and verbal)
- High level of professionalism, confidentiality and quality of work
