About the role

We are seeking a highly motivated and organised Integration Support Specialist to join our dynamic team at webhotelier | primalres, a leading travel tech company. In this role, you will play a pivotal part in supporting and enhancing our integration process, acting as a bridge between technical teams, integration partners, and internal departments. Your expertise will be essential in providing technical guidance, managing integration-related tasks, and ensuring the smooth execution of integration projects.

Key Responsibilities evolve around:

Integration Project Coordination & Support:

  • Assist in managing and overseeing new integration projects, ensuring they are executed on time, meet technical requirements, align with business objectives, and that all integration activities (including timelines, stakeholder communication, and resource allocation) are coordinated to meet milestones, while also identifying opportunities to optimise and streamline integration processes.

Quality Assurance & Improvement:

  • Monitor and improve the quality of existing integrations to ensure their overall correctness and efficiency by identifying potential enhancements and working with partners and internal teams to implement updates or optimisations and resolve quality-related issues.

Technical Guidance, Support & Troubleshooting:

  • Provide technical guidance and support to integration partners, ensuring seamless communication and effective troubleshooting of integration-related issues, and work closely with the setup & support teams to investigate and resolve complex or technical issues, which may require deeper product knowledge or further troubleshooting, either independently or with assistance from the development team.

Cross-Department Collaboration:

  • Serve as the intermediary between the integration team, product development, setup & support teams, and other departments, ensuring efficient communication and escalation of issues, and collaborate with the development team to break down and resolve application/product-level issues, facilitating smooth execution of integrations and successful implementation of new features or updates.

Feature Request Coordination and Issue Escalation & Follow-up:

  • Collaborate with internal teams to gather and prioritise feature requests, ensuring new integration and product requirements are communicated effectively to the product development team, and verify, log, escalate, and follow up on issues, requests, and improvements that require assistance from the development team, ensuring proper tracking and timely resolution.

Product Knowledge Transfer & Mentorship:

  • Obtain and maintain an in-depth understanding of our products' functionality, features, and capabilities, and transfer this knowledge to the setup & support teams, mentoring them on best practices, troubleshooting methods, and product knowledge to enhance overall team performance.

Knowledgebase Management & Process Improvement:

  • Maintain and update the knowledge base with relevant information, ensuring documentation is comprehensive, up-to-date, and accessible to all teams, and identify and deliver improvements to the knowledge base, support processes, and tools to enhance efficiency, accuracy, and overall support quality.

Requirements

The ideal candidate would possess:

  • Experience: 1+ years in a technical support, project coordination, or integration-related role, preferably in a travel tech or SaaS environment.
  • Technical Skills: While this is not a programming-focused role, a basic understanding of technical concepts and how integrations work is essential.
  • Strong Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills in both English and Greek, with an emphasis on English, as you will be working with international teams and partners. Clear and effective communication is critical in both technical and non-technical contexts.
  • Problem-Solving: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to diagnose and resolve technical issues effectively.
  • Organisational Skills: Detail-oriented with excellent multitasking abilities, able to manage multiple tasks and prioritise effectively.
  • Team Player spirit: Collaborative, adaptable, and proactive in working across various departments to meet business objectives.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Familiarity with APIs, data formats (such as XML, JSON, etc.), integration processes, and troubleshooting technical issues.
  • Experience with web technologies and various testing tools/frameworks (e.g. Postman) for validating integrations and ensuring the correctness and efficiency of integration processes.
  • Familiarity with the travel industry or travel technology.
